Woks are primarily used for stir frying, but can also be used in many other ways, such as steaming, deep frying, braising, stewing, or making soup.  The IRJWC002 Japanese Wok has a bowl-shaped pan, which spreads heat evenly, uses less oil when deep-frying, and ensures that sauteed food tossed during cooking stays in the pan and does not end up on the stovetop. This wok has an extra strength iron construction with an ionized steel coating to prevent sticking.
