    Thousands of items ship free within the contiguous United States. We reserve the right to select the best method of shipment on all orders that qualify for Free Shipping. Free Shipping items are clearly marked on product pages, in your shopping cart and during checkout.

    How do you calculate shipping costs?

    Orders under $100 ship for a flat rate of $9.75.
    On orders $100 and over, we total the items in your cart not marked Free Shipping, and use a small percentage of that amount, before discounts and taxes.

    What options do I have for shipping?

    Instawares.com only offers Standard Ground Shipping. See below for details.

    Products Shipping via Common Carrier Options:

    Common carrier to a commercial address with loading dock: Commercial addresses are those defined by the corresponding carrier as commercial sites. Typically these addresses are zoned as commercial real estate. To qualify for this rate, the address must have tractor-trailer access with a loading dock suitable for unloading with a pallet jack or forklift. Businesses being operated from homes, apartments, or other dwellings where people live on the premises are not considered commercial addresses.


    Common carrier to a commercial address with lift gate: Commercial addresses are those defined by the corresponding carrier as commercial sites. Typically these addresses are zoned as commercial real estate. Lift gate delivery is provided for those businesses not equipped with a loading dock. Businesses being operated from homes, apartments, or other dwellings where people live on the premises are not considered commercial addresses.

    How long will it take for my order to arrive?

    We drop ship almost everything directly from over 300 suppliers. On each product page, we provide an estimated "Usually Ships In" time. This is how long the product takes to ship from the supplier and can be anywhere from 1 to 14+ days, depending on if the item is in stock or a special order. We use UPS Ground for most items, which generally delivers parcels between 3 and 6 days. However, there are thousands of items that arrive only 1 or 2 days after your purchase.

    How long will it take for Furniture items?

    Furniture items usually have a longer lead-time before shipment. Depending on the type of furniture, your order may take up to six weeks to arrive. The shipping estimates for furniture are usually listed with each product; however in some cases, due to heavy or seasonal order volume, the listed "Usually Ships In" time may not be accurate. If the item is going to exceed the listed time, we will make every effort to let you know in advance.

    Receiving Instructions

    Instawares.com does our best to ensure your order arrives to you safely. Unfortunately, there are times your merchandise may become damaged in transit by the carrier. UPS, FedEx and the Freight companies are responsible for inspecting our shipments for damages when picked up from us or one of our suppliers. When the driver picks up and signs the freight bill, he/she is indicating your order was picked up in good condition.

    Freight Deliveries

    When you receive a shipment from a freight company, it is your responsibility to inspect your order upon arrival for damages before signing for the shipment. If the item arrives to you damaged, please refuse the shipment as "damaged" and immediately report to customer service in order for a reshipment to be created as these are not automatically done.

    You are responsible for fully inspecting your shipment for any signs of damages. In freight deliveries, it is imperative you look for any signs of damages to outside packaging as well as opening and uncrating for full inspection. It is your right to do this in accepting your delivery. Should the driver advise they do not have time to wait for you to inspect the package, inform them that you will then either have to refuse the delivery or sign for it as “damaged”. Again, this is your RIGHT to fully inspect freight deliveries! If any of your order is damaged, please note the specific damage on the delivery receipt/bill of lading while the driver is there. Be as specific as possible when noting the damage. We ask that you also take photos of any damage, including packaging that has occurred to help us determine what happened to the product and address the damage with the freight carrier. Please do not throw away any of the original inner or outer packaging. This may be used to ship the unit back to the appropriate shipping warehouse. If you sign for an item without inspecting it or noting damage at the time of delivery, it is considered free and clear of damages and releases us and the carrier from any liability. By signing the delivery receipt you are taking responsibility and ownership for the shipment in the condition noted. 

    If you decide to keep the order and sign for it as "Damaged," or with any other notes on the freight bill, you will need to file a freight claim with the carrier for compensation and Instawares.com will not be responsible for the outcome of your freight claim. We cannot guarantee any compensation for damages with your freight claim.

    UPS/FedEx Deliveries

    When you receive a shipment from a ground company (UPS/FedEX), please refuse any deliveries with noticeable damage to the packaging and immediately report to customer service in order for a reshipment to be created as these are not automatically done. Should you discover damage after signing for the deliver or if the packaging was delivered without a signature, please contact customer service within 1 business day for instructions.
