Carlisle Sparta® Meteor® pastry/basting brushes are the professional's choice for use in any baking or meat station. Sparta® Meteor® pastry/basting brushes were made with a plastic handle and boar bristles that will withstand commercial use. Carlisle's boar bristles are double-boiled which sterilized and made the bristles water resistant. These boar bristles will withstand damage from temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Carlisle added epoxy-set ferrules that will eliminate hazardous bacteria traps and ensure cleanliness. Sparta® boar basting brushes are not dishwasher safe and should be dipped into a commercial cleaning solution for cleaning.
