Two weeks before the end of World War II, James Reigle purchased the Kewaskum Aluminum Company. Prior to the purchase, the company was a manufacturer of shell casings for the military. Reigle retooled the factory for the production of stainless steel sauce pans that would be sold door to door. The company was renamed Regal Ware, Inc. in 1951,which was followed by the invention of nonstick coated cookware. By 1965, America made the PolyPerk coffeemaker the best selling percolator. In the 70's and 80's Regal Ware expanded and became a leader in drip coffeemakers, acquired Saladmaster, a company in Dallas, Texas and introduced the bread machine. Today, Regal Ware celebrates 60 years of excellence and has expanded in more than 100 countries.
