In 1991, Bill Verity whose family has a one hundred year history in the manufacturing industry was working for his father at Crown Electric. Determined he could improve on the commercial barbecue, he created Crown Verity, Inc. By mimicking the secret for successes of past Verity owned companies, Crown Verity, Inc. has owned up to their motto, “Our Reputation is Stainless”.

Crown Verity manufactures mobil charbroilers and outdoor grills. Are you cooking for a family of four in your backyard, friends at the ballgame or hosting a commercial event? No problem, Crown Verity has the right grill at the right price.  

Crown Verity grills are constructed with 18 gauge stainless steel versus other grills that use a lower grade stainless, aluminized or porcelainized steel. The construction is built to withstand temperatures extremes, both inside and out.

Crown Verity is the maker Tailgates Grills. You can hitch your grill to your car, truck or golf cart and take your grill on the road. The Tailgate 1 Gas Grill has a 36 inch grill with room to store food and condiments in two insulated stainless steel beverage/meat compartments with a drain. With two 30 lb. propane tanks, you can cook for hours.
