Town Equipment put a stainless steel hinged cover and insulated body on this rice warmer to help keep the rice fresh. The cover lid fits so snugly to the rice pot so that moisture gets trapped inside of the warmer keeping the rice from drying out. Rice warmers hold cooked rice at a hot temperature, 175 degrees Fahrenheit, for up to 12 hours. The 56919 rice warmer has a convenient pilot lamp in the cover that lets you know when your unit is on. Since the 56919S rice warmer is made from stainless steel it is very easy to clean and sanitize this unit.
