Vita-Mix 15557 64 ounce container was made to be used with Portion Blending System blending machines. Vita-Mix built this container out of high-impact plastic that is more break and crack resistant than traditional glass containers. The 15557 blending container does not come with a blade or a lid, it is a replacement container only. Since the 15557 unit does not come with the lid or blade, one of each must be obtained before you can use this product.
