Manitowoc RN-0408A air cooled, ice machine uses 5,000 BTU per hour to make up to 385 pounds of ice daily. This ice machine makes tubular nugget ice that is easy to chew while providing the maximum cooling effect. The RN-0408A has a 90% ice to water ratio and since the pieces are 5/8in diameter and about 1in long these nugget style ice are ideal for dispensing without congealing. Nugget ice is great for making blended drinks because it takes less energy for the blender to break up the ice. Manitowoc's RN-0408A ice machine has a width of 22 inches which makes it possible for this unit to be placed on a space saving design storage bin like B-320 and B-420.
