Manitowoc GSI200 Guardian slime inhibitor is a great way to control the growth of bacteria and fungi in your ice machine. Ice machines that use the Guardian slime inhibitor have 6 times more time where ice machines slime free between professional cleaning. Manitowoc uses patented technology in the Guardian slime inhibitor that releases chlorine dioxide on a set controlled basis.  The Guardian slime inhibitor uses a Sachet refill that is EPA registered, FDA approved and NSF listed as a slime inhibitor. When the Sachet is ready to be replaced all you have to do is pull the sachet packet from the foil outer wrapper and insert it into the Guardian holder. This GSI200 Guardian slime inhibitor is a great addition to most ice machine and will only make your ice taste fresher because there will not be as much slime as a ice machine without a slime inhibitor.
