Futura Euro/design dual wheel caster is designed exclusively for "Euro-style" chairs creating the illusion of chair, leg and caster being one unit. 2-3/16" dual wheel styling with specially designed 1-1/2" diameter neck that fits 1-1/2" diameter chair bases where chair base and caster fit together to form a solid unit.Use on bases where chair/caster appear to be all in one. Many new chairs are equipped with hard wheel casters for use on carpeted surfaces only. Hard wheels skate and slide on hard floor surfaces. For safe rolling on chairmats, and all hard floor surfaces, soft wheel casters should be used. Soft wheels provide traction and prevent sliding.
