Specially designed baffles interlockwhen the filter is closed to extract grease more efficiently from the airstream. Clogging due to baked-on grease will not be an issue, because thehinged design allows full access to all surfaces, inside and out, so thoroughcleaning is easy: simply run the filter through the dishwasher or pot sink.
