- Pro mitt protects your hands during contact with direct flame: grills, charcoal, fat and oil up to temperatures of 300C/575F, both in the kitchen and when using the barbecue.
- Pro mitt is the only waterproof cooking mitt which protects you from both boiling water and oil. Even when wet, the mitt provides the same high level of protection. (Unlike fabric oven mitts and gauntlets which can become less effective when they are wet or stained with oil or fat).
- The extra length of the Pro mitt protects your arm above the wrist - many kitchen injuries such as burns on the back of the hand or wrist are caused by a lack of protection above the wrist area.
- Pro mitt is made from non-slip silicone. Furthermore the raised "pads" on the mitt will help to ensure that nothing slips from your grasp.
- Pro mitt can be washed either under the tap, in the dishwasher or in the washing machine! At last an oven glove that will always be clean.
- Pro mitt is made from silicone which is both non-absorbent and non-porous. The mitt conforms to standards for use with food items. It is the only really hygienic oven mitt.
