Edlunds precision guidance system allows the knife heel to be inserted closer to the grinding stone, maximizing the sharpened area on the blade. Knife slot width has been reduced to 3/16 (1.2cm) for additional safety.
Never sharpen can opener blades; it creates a hazard and does not improve the function of the can opener.
