The D-Link 8-port 10/100 Desktop Switch (DES-1108) provides a simple solution for expanding your network. Connect this Desktop Switch to a router and share high-speed Internet access with up to seven additional computers. By sharing the Internet, your users can check e-mail, browse the web, and chat with friends and family online using their own computer. With this Desktop Switch, you can also add a print server, Network-Attached Storage (NAS), and Internet camera to increase the functionality of your network. This 8-port Desktop Switch receives and forwards traffic seamlessly with its non-blocking wire-speed architecture. Every port simultaneously supports up to 200Mbps of bandwidth in full-duplex mode that totals 1.6Gbps of switching capacity. Its power connector and ports are conveniently located in the rear to keep the cables out of sight.
