Carlisle uses their patented non-toxic refrigerant gel that will hold the cold temperature longer than any other similar product. Carlisle even added extra insulation around the refrigerant gel that maximizes the amount of cold temperatures it can retain. Since cleanliness is so important Carlisle made this product have the ability to be washed in the dishwasher which makes clean up easy.
