The cover snaps on tightly but can be easily removed. Using a cover with your Camwear® storage containers will protect your food and keep it fresher longer. Cambro made the cover from virtually unbreakable polycarbonate that is stain resistant to food acids and oils. Its crystal clear color matches the Camwear® food storage container. The lid safely withstands temperatures from -40°F to 210°F (-40°C to 99°C) so it can go in the dishwasher.
