Regular foodservice towels place demands on the chemistry in your sanitizer solution and therefore
act as a “pump” that extracts the quaternary ammonium chloride and chlorine ions from the holding solution. When rinsed the
ions, which are not firmly attached to the towel, are released with the water and bio-load and therefore discarded. Outside studies
show that traditional and nonwoven towels immediately reduced both quaternary and free chlorine sanitizer solutions by as much as 50% and 95%,
respectively. Solutions used with Chix® Professional-Series towels remain consistently above 200 PPM for well over four hours when managed properly
